Director & Video Editor

About Eric

Hello there! I'm a filmmaker, editor, and producer residing in Northern Atlanta with my wife and daughter. My specialty is finding the humanity and narratives of organizations and nonprofits and expressing those stories through compelling visual mediums. Since high school, I've had fun creating stories for the big and small screen. During these formative years, my friends and I would concoct amateur videos and movies ranging from the dramatic to the wildly absurd. Yet, it was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career visual storytelling.

In high school, I discovered the fun in creating video projects for class. During those formative years, my friends and I would concoct amateur videos and movies ranging from the dramatic to the absurd! Yet, it was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career in filmmaking. After high school, I landed a job at my local television station, worked full-time for a local production company, and attended community college simultaneously.

In 2005, I received a full scholarship to the University of New Orleans, but unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina forced me to return to Alabama. However, through the kindness of the University of North Alabama, I was able to continue my studies and meet lifelong friends during my tenure.

Before completing my degree, I had the opportunity to intern as a post-production assistant at Lawrence Bridge’s RED CAR in Culver City, CA. I also worked and unpaid position on a Christian martial arts feature film, which ran out of money six weeks into filming. The following Summer I volunteered on a video crew at the JH Ranch in remote Etna, CA.

In 2009, I moved to San Francisco to work with the legendary ad agency Goodby, Silverstein, and Partners, the creative minds behind the iconic “Got Milk” campaign. Since then, I’ve pursued a career as a freelance editor, working with international brands such as Intel, Airbnb, Google, and Autodesk, and collaborating with various ad agencies, tech companies, and non-profits in the San Francisco Bay Area.

My focus now is on creating cinematic documentaries for brands and non-profits, and I'm proud to say that my work has been showcased in several film festivals. Additionally, my social media content has garnered millions of views for my clients. In 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to work on the social media team during the Olympics in Sokcho, Korea. Amid the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, my family and I moved to Atlanta, where I've continued to work with clients from all over the United States.Having a family has brought tremendous changes and intentional focus to my life, but my love for drawing out characters, humanity, and narratives that offer new perspectives stills gets me excited.
