YWAM San Francisco
Seeking Shalom in the Tenderloin
Role: Production & Post Production

This kind of ministry is risky. Sometimes it's scary, sure, but it's worth it. It's worth it to see people free."

Project Description:

Step into the heart of San Francisco in 2020, as the city grapples with a city-wide lockdown that shrouds its streets in uncertainty. In the historic theatre district known as the Tenderloin, the unhoused citizens face unprecedented challenges as restrictions and boundaries are imposed for safety. Cut off from basic human needs – food, shelter, and even touch – they navigate the harsh realities of the global pandemic.

But amidst the turmoil, a glimmer of hope emerges. Enter YWAM (Youth With A Mission) of San Francisco, a group of ordinary individuals with extraordinary compassion. As uncertainty grip the city like a dense fog, YWAM formulates a strategy to provide relief to those in need. With compassion and determination, they set out to bring comfort, support, and practical assistance to the vulnerable members of their community.
